Who's eligible?

California school districts with an adult education school are eligible to apply to use five percent of their adult education block entitlement funds to provide an Innovation and Alternative Instructional Delivery program.

Innovation Program dates to remember:

• Applications for Fiscal Year 2010-11 are due September 30, 2010..
• Year-end evaluations for agencies funded during Fiscal Year 2009-10 are due September 30, 2010..

A Note about Program Evaluation

All programs must complete an annual evaluation of their program prior to the approval of subsequent applications. The Program Evaluation will be available on the CDE web site and applicants will be notified.
